Education

Visit the National Trust's Education Web Site

Wicken Fen offers educational programmes for children from schools and from other organisations.

We offer a number of educational days for KS1, KS2, KS3, and KS4 Science. KS1 and KS2 History and Geography. All the activities can be modified to meet the schools exact curricular needs. Specialist Art and Science days are also held. Education Officers will teach the various sessions and provide all the necessary resources and expertise. Teachers are welcome to come on a pre-trip visit to help to make each visit an enjoyable as well as educational day out.

Is your school or college a National Trust Education Group Member? You should be - it will mean free entry to NT Properties including Wicken Fen.
For full details of our various sessions for primary, secondary and tertiary education, contact Katie Fenton on 01353 720274
Teachers worksheets are available.
The shop at Wicken Fen also stocks a range of books suitable for classroom work pre or post visit
