Volunteering

Sunday Conservation Volunteers Group

This Group has recently been formed to to help manage the Fen. The Group have been involved in a number of different projects including the Centenary Scrub Clearance Project and the creation of a raised pond for use by people in wheelchairs and toddlers.

If you want to get involved contact us by email or ring 01353 720274. The Group meets around once a month.

We are also always looking for volunteers to help with:

Practical management on the Nature Reserve Can you spare time during the week to help manage the nature reserve? Full training given. Contact Martin Lester, Head Warden for further details.

Working with the Education Department Would you like to help run activities for school groups? Contact Kay Wilmott for further details.

Fen Cottage Can you spare a Sunday afternoon between April and October to show visitors around Fen Cottage - The National Trust's smallest historic house? Full training given. Contact Isabel Sedgwick for further details.
