Not only do our herds of Konik Ponies add a real sense of drama to the fen landscape, but they are doing an incredibly important job in creating new habitats to protect many of the rare species found at Wicken.

The foals are born in early spring. Call into the Visitor Centre to find out about new arrivals, the best places to see them and advice on access and grazing animals. To watch these animals and their unique behaviour in surroundings which are natural to them is a great privilege.
